It's officially official. I am all signed up and set to run the Philadelphia Half Marathon in 10 days. Last night I received that number up there. My bib number. I also received my corral location - blue. For those who are unfamiliar with the corral system for Philly, blue is the total back of the pack. I will be in the last wave that crosses the starting line come Sunday, November 20th. Whatevs. The fact that I will be starting is more important than where I'll be starting.
Training is going well lately. I'm feeling pretty good right now. I have been following my training plan for the month pretty well. I have a 30 minute run tomorrow, then my last "long" run on Saturday of 5 miles. Two 30 minute runs next week and boom! Half marathon. Eee! It all comes down to this. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling like I will cross that finish line in one piece.
