Did you know?

In case you didn't know, I'm a huge baseball fan.  ;-)  Specifically the Philadelphia Phillies.  Sure, they are the first team to reach 10,000 losses, fans are considered the worse in baseball, and we've only won 2 World Series since 1883, but they are MY team.

Currently, MY team is in the play-offs.  We're in round 1 of the play-offs, so we're talking National League Divisional Series against the St. Louis Cardinals.  Not one of my favorite teams.  Basically because I hate dislike Albert Pujols.  He's a jerk. I don't care what you say, he's a jerk and my feelings are not going to change any time soon.

All was going well initially.  The Phils came back in Game 1 to win.  Yea!  Very quickly in Game 2, they grabbed a 4 run lead.  Double yea!  Then they squandered it and lost Game 2.  Boo!  (oh yes, Phillies fans do lots of booing).  Now we're onto Game 3...in St. Louis.  And this game had me freaking out.  Seriously, holding my breath, freaking out.  No score until the 7th inning.  Then a BOMB by Ben Franscico made the game 3-0 Phils.  Woot!  Woot!  And then panic set in because it seemed like the team was TRYING to find ways of letting the Cardinals win.

In the end, they pulled it out and went up 2-1 in the best of 5 series.  But, I will say, I'm not sure how much of this my little heart can take.  I could barely watch the game.  Game 4 is tomorrow night.  Here's to a simple, stress-free game with the Phils coming out on top.
