Went out this morning for the first post-Philly Half Marathon run. I hadn't felt bad after the race, but Wednesday night by left calf started to hurt. And it hurt through Friday night. When I woke up this morning, fine. Odd. But, when I went out to run it was tight and stiff. Ugh.
My goal was just to go out and run. So, I ran for 30 minutes and got 2.28 miles in. Not bad considering my right calf was stiff most of the run. I'm just happy to get out and have a successful run the first time out.
Next Saturday the goal is about 5 miles because come December 10th, Yuengling Shamrock Half Marathon training starts!

ReplyDeleteNo, no, no! Just a quick 30 minute run. No half marathons this weekend. Next one is scheduled for March 18th, TRAINING starts on the week of the 10th. I'm not totally crazy! LOL!
