I hope you all had a lovely Easter and the bunny treated you well. Today, we are off to Philadelphia to see the Phillies Opening Day! They started the season on the road in Pittsburgh and are now back at home to kick off the 2012 season.
It'll be a weird Opening Day. Both Chase Utley and Ryan Howard are out from injuries (Utley is having continued knee issues and Howard is still recovering from an Achilles tear obtained in his last at-bat during the 2011 play-offs). I have faith that the boys can have a successful year, even with starting the year without Utley and Howard.
It'll be a fun day and I'm looking forward to seeing my boys make a run at the National League East title for the sixth year in a row!
