Nothing to do with running

Holiday shopping just got frustrating. My Grandmother is from the U.K. She grew up in a small town about 2 hours north of London. During WWII, she met my Grandfather, they fell in love and married. She came to the States in 1948 and while going back to visit a couple times, she's been a US girl ever since.

Grandmom's favorite candy is Flake. For years the only way to get it was by going to England or having her half-brother send it. But now you can get it over the internet. Yea internet! The problem? Currently, through Amazon, it will not arrive until after Christmas. Ummm...what good does that do me????

I'm in negotiations with a friend right now...as I type...for a Flake hook-up. Hopefully this all goes down. I love giving Grandmom a taste of home.

    We have an Irish store in the next town over and they usually have them. If you want me to check it out and get some if they have them, send me an email!

    Oh I know how you feel. I grew up in Germany and some foods you just can not find here in the US. Shipping takes forever! I hope you work it out.
