Another Update on Operation 20

Another week down in Operation 20.  It wasn't as forward moving as I would like.  I had hoped for big things this week.  Apparently, big things aren't in the cards for me right now.  Ugh.

Operation 20 Goal (February 25th): 20 pounds
Operation 20 Half-Goal (December 31st): 10 pounds
Today's Result: -.4 pounds.

Operation 20 To-Go: 16.6 pounds
Operation 20 Half-Goal to Go: 6.6 pounds

I had a couple of good runs this week.  Not as long as I would like for each one distance-wise, but I did have some good times this week.  Set a nice 2 mile PR on Thursday.  That was really good.  Two runs of 2.5 miles each aren't fabulous, but that time thing really is nice.  Sadly, I didn't really do anything outside of those runs exercise wise.  Bah!  And I'm having a hard time getting in water.  It's just so darn cold!  I have a hard time drinking freezing cold water in the freezing cold.  LOL!

So, I suppose I have my answer for next week.  Workout more in-between runs and drink my water.  Not rocket science, but it's good to keep in mind.  And this week,  my mileage goes up again - 4 miles tomorrow (12/18) and then two more runs of hopefully 3 to 3.5 miles each.  That will help.

Let's see how the week before Christmas goes - will it be a pretty present on Christmas Eve or coal?

  2. Thanks. I know. I just want it to go a little faster. LOL! I'll get there. I didn't gain it all in one week. I just want to reach goal though.
