Today started the healthier eating and exercise portion of the changing me program. So, I got up and the first thing I did was play with my new Wii Fit. It took a tad longer to get it ready to go, but eventually, it was up and running. Yea! I had a blast playing on it, though, not thrilled with all the initial numbers - weight, BMI, Wii Fit Age, etc. But they will go down. Yup. And I am sure I am stronger for my 35 minutes on it already.
I tried the yoga. I liked all but the last one. It was Tree or something. I had a hard time balancing on one leg on the balance board. But I did ok on the rest of the yoga stuff. Then onto strength training. Did ok. Some moves I liked better than others. I will make sure I keep some of that in my daily workout though. My favorite was the aerobics. I did the Mii Run. :) That was a blast! Did that 3 times and unlocked the long distance run, which I did before stopping for the day. I also did the hula hoop. That's addicting! Fun though. I kept wanting to up my score. Lots of fun!
I worked out for 35 minutes on the Wii Fit. I really enjoyed it and want to work on it each day. I think in the morning would be best, but I'm not a morning person, so we shall see how that goes. But not too bad for the first day on Wii Fit. Will have to wait to see how I feel tomorrow though!
