Well, Week 2 has come and gone. It was an awful week. Seriously. I ate more crap than I should have. I don't know what happened. Had a hard time getting back to it this week after the weekend. For some reason, I'm pretty good at come Sunday kicking it back into gear and turning off the eat whatever mode I get into Friday and Saturday. Not this week. It was frustrating. And annoying.
The good thing was I exercised for the first time in weeks. I did a 30 minute step routine on the Wii and a 60 minute bike ride. That's something. It's a start. And I was happy that neither of those two things made my knee hurt. I was afraid I would get finished and there would be knee pain. Hoping this is a good sign. I want to go for a short run next Saturday for the first time in three weeks. Aiming for a mile/mile and a half. I don't want to put too much pressure on it.
Ok, so the nitty gritty...
Operation 20 Goal (February 25th): 20 pounds
Operation 20 Half-Goal (December 31st): 10 pounds
Today's Result: 0 pounds.
Operation 20 To-Go: 18.4 pounds
Operation 20 Half-Goal to Go: 8.4 pounds
Yes, I stayed the same this week. I am grateful that I didn't gain. I should have, but for some reason I didn't. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I'll take it. So, this week...ugh. It's going to be a tough one. Going out to eat tonight at a restaurant that has delicious, but totally unhealthy food. Heading to Philly for the Marathon (hubby is running the half). Monday, meeting a friend for Happy Hour. And the piece de resistance? Thanksgiving THE DAY BEFORE WEIGH-IN. Ugh. Some major will power will be needed this week to get through it all. One week I will have a simple nothing happening kinda week.
