So, yea...I anticipated this week being awful and it was. Just downright hard. And because of that, I did not do a weigh in. Nope. I know it would just disappointment me and I don't want that.
I did get the chance to finally run again. Went out this morning for the first time in about a month. Needed to test the knee. We're about three months out from the Disney Princess Half Marathon and darn it, I have a long road to go. But, I got out and ran 1.5 miles. A tad of a twinge after about 7 steps, then it went away. No pain the rest of the run, which is a HUGE improvement over my last run when my knee hurt the entire time. Phew! I did realize that I under dressed. Had no idea it was SNOWING when I headed out. A little disconcerting when running to see snowflakes. Ah well. Hard core. It was a good run and a good start to the Half Marathon Training.
