Last night I ran out on a couple errands. I stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods for a gym bag. I've been using bags I've received from races and I'm realizing I need a real bag. I ended up with a bag from Nike that may be larger than I need, but I really liked the texture of the bag. I also grabbed a couple winter hats for next year since they were 70% off. Yea!
Next was Target. Lots of stuff to distract one there! I had a goal though and I did pretty well not grabbing random crap. While at Dick's I saw a few videos, including a yoga one that focused on stress relief. It was $19.99. Ummm...wow. So, I thought Target might have one that works, I'll check there. So, I checked and I found the above video for $12.95, which I thought was a good deal until I saw the link above that Wal-Mart has it for less than $10. Darn! Anyway... I grabbed this because I need to reduce the stress in my life. This seemed like a good way to do it. Plus flexibility is never a bad thing. The video has two programs, one that focuses on stress and one that focuses on flexibility. I can deal with that.
Next week I will try it out. With Shamrock this weekend, I am trying no new activities out. LOL! I am looking forward to it though. I need something to help with my stress and I'm pinning a few hopes on this to help. If so, maybe I'll grab another DVD for variety.

I'm going to start using it on March 22, 2013 as my planner for the Zooma Annapolis Half Marathon. It has places to put your training for both cardio and weight training, a place to write out how you felt about your workout, a place to keep track of sleep and water and food. Then at the end of the week there is an evaluation on how you did. I like this. So, on the Friday after Shamrock I will be keeping this diary for Annapolis. Here's hoping it brings me success!
